To perform highly complex systems process analysis, design, and simulation across multiple platforms and/or cross-function in business areas. To perform process improvement and re-engineering with an understanding of technical problems and solutions as they relate to the current and future business environment. To develop innovative IT solutions for risky and demanding business situations. To function as a team leader and provide procedural and technical guidance to less experienced systems analysts. To function as a specialist in a particular aspect of systems analysis or as in integrator of analysis and design across technology platforms, business areas, or locations. To instruct and review the work of others.
Key Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Support and enhance existing Lawson applications
- An analytical and solution-focused professional with experience in designing, developing and implementing ERP solutions to support strategic business objectives
- An effective communicator who easily interfaces with business owners to gather project requirements and deliver solutions that achieve desired outcomes
- You will: Interact with vendors, stakeholders, department managers and end users to configure, customize and optimize Lawson applications and interfaces
- Solve problems with proficiency utilizing application and configuration expertise, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and provide detailed information in a fast-paced and demanding work environment
- Develop custom programs, scripts, interfaces and extracts per requirements
- Evaluate requests for customizations or configuration modifications, and use system tools to perform changes or enhancements
- Participate in ERP-related project implementations throughout the organization
- Partner closely with internal and external resources to define scope, negotiate timelines and assign tasks to project team members
- Proactively identify potential risks and help determine mitigation strategies as well as opportunities associated with projects
- Job scheduler monitoring for batch and online transactions.
- Rotate 24/7 on call support of system
$89,880 – $146,055
Qualifications
Associate’s degree in Information Systems or a related field and eight (8) years of related experience required. Work experience may substitute for education requirement.
Preferred Skills
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience supporting ERP software.
- Strong technical and functional knowledge of Lawson.
- Exposure to supporting Lawson instance within AIX/Linux environments.
- Strong emphasis on HR, benefits and payroll modules.
- Strong understanding of Lawson architecture.
- Exposure to Tivoli Directory Service.
- Exposure to WebSphere’s integration with Lawson
- Exposure to materials management.
- Exposure to other workforce management solutions (Kronos, Avantas) preferred, but not required.
