SYSTEMS ANALYST II-ENT – Cerner Orders/Power Plans

Duties:

To conduct business requirements reviews, technical systems specifications and systems process analysis. To develop detailed selection evaluation criteria. To analyze and re-engineer business processes using industry standard tools and methods with understanding of the technical and business environments. To partner with business process experts to learn and understand problems with software. To develop innovative IT solutions for risky and demanding business situations.

Key Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Build, test, and troubleshoot Orders/Powerplans
• Assess and work change request assignments
• Actively track and review Cerner roadmaps and enhancements to be considered by leadership
• Research options for customer workflow needs
• Assist with system maintenance related to Orders/Powerplans
• On-call customer support for assigned Clinical Applications call group
• Identify, recommend, and initiate process improvement ideas

$81,525 – $132,475

 

Qualifications

 

Associate’s degree in Information Systems or a related field and six (6) years of related experience required. Work experience may substitute for education requirement. 

Preferred Skills

• Established understanding of  Orders/Powerplan build and functionality
• Proven ability to effectively analyze requests for Orders/Powerplans in relationship to the customer’s needs and make sound recommendations
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot Orders/Powerplan issues
• Demonstrated ability to assess the information needs of peers to accurately and effectively transfer knowledge to them
• Good communication and interpersonal relationship skills
• Critical thinker who plans, leads, and communicates effectively in various settings 
• Coaches and mentors peers while promoting team comradery 
• Proven sense of situational awareness to identify Powerplans and Orders issues that need to be escalated to the appropriate next level
