Information Technology Services department handles all software and hardware needs, as well as technological and networking issues for both employees and students who rely heavily on computer systems across our campuses. Technical support — which includes help with computer hardware and software technical problems, email, audio-visual needs and more — is available to everyone at SAIT, whether the problem occurs at home or on-campus.
The OpportunityThis position is responsible for assisting with implementing and maintaining a cost effective, technological CRM solution, including systems integration. This position is a key team member in the implementation and establishment of a CRM solution to improve efficiencies and processes. The System Administrator will work with business users to support, administer, and develop CRM needs. Additionally, the System Administrator will assist in managing CRM data integration with other systems to enhance productivity, as well as producing CRM dashboards and reports as required.
The Role - Planning, implementing, and maintaining CRM processes
- Responsible for CRM process reviews to develop recommendations for process changes including new or improved business systems with electronic solutions
- Promote appropriate application of CRM technology to business problems and perform needs assessments and analysis of requirements for implementation
- Identify, propose and coordinate system enhancements and define required business processes
- Provide initial and ongoing CRM training to all divisional users of the CRM system
- Maintain and update records for CRM procedures, changes to functionality, and process changes
- Recommend and/or participate in the development, implementation, and upgrading of processes
- Liaison with third party application software vendors and SAIT departments as required
- Maintain and expand knowledge of constantly evolving CRM solutions and best practices
- Attend ITS meetings, gather requirements for CRM integration and provide documentation needed for integration with other systems.
- Design, implement and maintain CRM portion of connections between CRM and other systems as per integration requirements and including manual exports, scheduled exports, publishing changes based on events / triggers, and more
- Understand data integrity, data management, CRMs and programming
- Analyze user and functional requirements to ensure alignment with business requirements and stakeholder priorities
- Analyze requirements for reports and design reports
- Identify key business metrics and create connections to system processes
- Provide first level CRM system support
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the institution through various projects, work groups and committees
Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant Bachelor degree or diploma and/or equivalent work experience; minimum 5 years
- Experience with Salesforce an asset, experience with CRM applications at a minimum
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong communication skills – written and verbal
- Critical thinking and an ability to identify and fill gaps in information

Knowledge
- Technical knowledge and proficiency in use of database applications, with a preference toward Salesforce

- Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to analyze and synthesize information to document business requirements
- Ability to utilize software and tools to support business analysis and project implementation
- Ability to interact with a diverse group of executives, manager, technical staff and external clients
- Facilitation and leadership skills required to assist users in adapting to new technology and processes
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to shifting priorities
- Ability to learn new software application tools
- Receive direction from the Supervisor to ensure priorities and objectives are met in a timely manner
- Receive feedback from stakeholders to assess needs and requirements for business and software processes
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with business and technical teams
Work Environment and Equipment
- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) is an asset
- Microsoft Office, e-mail and database management; ability to work with online vendor registration and RFP submissions
- High volume work involving detailed accuracy, with priorities constantly changing
- High level of comprehension and interpretation of written and verbal instructions
- This position may need to sit for long periods of time, involves long hours looking at a computer screen

Salary range: $76,048.96 – $83,086.64
Hours Per Week: 40
