Job Title: Survey TechnicianJob Description

Looking for an experienced Survey Technician to support drafting and design efforts for a land development civil engineering firm. This role offers a hybrid schedule and can sit out of offices in the person or Woodinville. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a survey technician, be proficient in AutoCAD, and possess comprehensive knowledge of state survey standards. Responsibilities: – Process field notes, sketches, checklists, and digital data – Drafting in AutoCAD from survey data – Research legal and survey records to obtain information about property boundaries, including: deeds, easements, vacations, dedications, Right of Ways, etc. – Perform topographic mapping and construction staking – Produce Record of Surveys, A.L.T.A. surveys, Short Plats, Long Plats, Final Plats, Final Condominium Plats, Boundary Line Agreements, Boundary Line Adjustments, easement exhibits, and any document required for project completion. – Resolve boundaries using accepted boundary and legal principles and case, state, and federal laws

Hard Skills

  • AutoCAD proficiency

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a survey technician

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Woodinville, Washington and some days remote.

Work Environment

Woodinville preferred but could work out of the person, working 3 days in office and 2 from home, preferred someone that wants to be in office
