Hiring Unit:
Athletics & Recreation
Position Summary:

Under the direction of the immediate supervisor, the Sports Camp Specialist will be responsible for coordinating/overseeing activities in the Sports Plus After-Camp program & during daily programming for their respective sport.

Duties

  • Create and disseminate specialized lesson plans for their selected sport (Tennis, Soccer and Basketball)
  • Ensuring communication with Section Leaders regarding any issues requiring their attention
  • Ensuring campers are following the health & safety protocols
  • Reporting or contacting the Winsor clinic staff of any incidents requiring immediate medical attention

Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities

  • Knowledgeable and experience teaching and/or coaching of selected sport (Tennis, Soccer and Basketball)
  • McGill Student studying Education, an asset
  • Knowledge of French and English. McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing

Minimum Education and Experience:

High School Diploma 1 Year Related Experience

Hourly Salary:

(AMUSE C) $16.06
