Would you like the opportunity to help international students through their journey at the University of Lincoln? We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced administrator to support our growing community of students from around the world.

There is no requirement for the successful candidate to have prior knowledge or experience of visa compliance and full training will be given in relation to any relevant processes. 

Our Student Visa Compliance team is expanding and working hard to provide an excellent experience for students and play a key role in supporting students through their journey with us from enrolment to graduation. 

This small and friendly team work closely on a day to day basis and also offer support to the wider Student Administration team at key events, such as Graduation, Exams and Clearing. This role is varied and the post holder will be involved in developing processes to manage student attendance, process student absence requests, student enrolment, data analysis, inbox management and more. 

The role will have a particular focus on student attendance monitoring, including meeting with students to offer support and guidance.

About you

  • You will be an experienced administrator with a proven ability to work effectively both within a team and independently. 
  • You will have the ability to support the development of processes and systems to respond to a busy and changing work environment. 
  • You will have experience of working in a customer-focused environment and will be expected to apply knowledge and judgement to respond to queries from staff and students on a daily basis.
  • The role will require you to have excellent written and oral communications skills and you will be expected to establish good working relationships at every level, both internally and externally.
