| Job Summary | You must be a current UK student to apply for this position. This position is located off-campus with a local Lexington employer and is not affiliated with UK Commonwealth Credit Union’s mission is to better the lives of those we serve. They must also be willing to maintain a professional image—both in appearance and in communication. The duties of a Teller include, but are not limited to: Maintaining an acceptable balancing record with all negotiable items on a daily basis—including cash, checks, and other negotiable items Using the member’s name at lease three times during every transaction—maintaining attentiveness and responsiveness to member traffic, while maintaining efficiency Meeting the monthly requirements on the number of transactions processed Meeting the monthly minimum requirement for credit union products and services cross-sold each month—possessing the necessary product knowledge to help match a product or service with the member’s needs Displaying good decision-making skills with respect to policies and guidelines—presenting the credit union’s perspective with regard to policies and procedures, in a positive and accurate manner Participating in all in-house training offered to staff, and showing enthusiasm towards learning Attending all required security training, and staying up-to-date on all branch security matters SATURDAY HOURS REQUIRED |
