The Student Support Coordinator is a grant-funded position responsible for conducting academic assessment and individualized career assessments for individuals who are coming through the Workforce Education and Lifelong Learning (WELL) Program at the Lenfest Center for Community Workforce Partnerships. The Student Support Coordinator will conduct workforce development related workshops and will regularly meet with WELL participants. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and related experience in psychology, human relations, social work, communications, workforce development or a related field, plus two years of related work experience.  An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Required Skills & Abilities:
* Demonstrated proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint or comparable software.    
* Demonstrated ability to counsel or coach using a strengths-based, individualized approach, especially for individuals with multiple barriers to employment.
* Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to interact with a diverse population of staff, students, and participants.
* Demonstrated organizational, problem solving, and data management skills.
* Ability to handle issues which are broad and complex.

This position requires a background check.
This position requires Child Abuse Certifications prior to the commencement of service.
This is a grant funded position.

This position is assigned a hybrid work arrangement (on-campus and remote), the duration of this hybrid work arrangement is at the discretion of Temple University and the Department.
