Student Services Advisor and Internship Coordinator

Advise the Department of Media, Culture & Communication’s undergraduate students on academic, career, and personal matters. Oversee and manage all aspects of the department’s credited internship program. Develop and deliver innovative, dynamic student services and special events, seminars, and workshops to meet the ongoing needs of students.

Required Education:
Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred Education:
Master’s Degree in Student Personnel or Counseling.
Required Experience:
3+ years experience in academic advising, career advising, or counseling students at the college or university level or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Experience:
Content Management System experience for website updates.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal, listening, and written and verbal communication skills. Ability to plan and deliver special events and seminars. Knowledge of standard office software.
