The Sustainable Organisations Research Group at Worcester Business School is seeking a student researcher to assist in the development of a new project exploring the integration of environmental sustainability and ethical behaviour in English universities. Although universities are facing increasing pressure to increase environmental sustainability, the environment is often ignored in policies to manage ethical behaviour. The project aims to answer the following research questions:
To support this the student researcher would locate and, with supervisor support, undertake analysis of university research ethics policies and staff codes of conduct to identity whether and how environmental sustainability is included within them. They would also assist supervisors in preparing to disseminate the findings to practitioner and academic communities. The research would be desk-based and undertaken at times to suit the student researcher.
