Department of Psychology

Position Summary:

  • Participate in the monthly Research Advisory Board (RAB) meetings comprised of 6-8 people with lived experience of an eating disorder.

  • Communicate with RAB members between meetings

  • Assist with development of assessment and intervention materials using software such as Qualtrics, Canva, and WordPress.

  • Conduct clinical interviews to diagnose eating disorders

  • Screen participants to determine eligibility

  • Schedule participants and communicate with graduate students

  • Tracking participant ecological momentary assessment and questionnaire data through study completion

  • Assist with preparation of research data for conference presentations and publications

  • Submit ethics applications, amendments, and renewals

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a laboratory environment

  • Experience with web and infographic design

  • Experience working with people with eating disorders

  • Course work in psychology

  • Significant experience in a laboratory environment

  • Knowledge of French and English: McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level 4 (qualifier) on a scale of 0-4.
