This is a key role and provides an opportunity to work in a busy department in a student-centred role, on departmental taught degree programmes and with academic staff, with primary responsibility for supporting departmental undergraduate and/or postgraduate programmes.

You will work closely with existing professional services team, to provide high quality and professional programme delivery to our students and academic colleagues in a supportive environment.  You will be responsible for co-ordination of our programmes, including supporting the day to day teaching activities.  You will be the first point of contact for students, responding proactively to their enquiries, ensuring smooth service delivery and an excellent student experience.

You should have administrative experience preferably in an educational environment, worked effectively both individually and as part of a team, good IT skills, have excellent communication and customer service skills and enjoy working in a busy and lively environment.  Attention to detail, good time management, the ability to effectively multi-task and prioritise are essential to this role.  This is a varied and challenging role which offers scope for further personal and professional development, whilst also being part of a supportive Professional Service team.

This is a part time role working 28 hours per week on an indefinite contract working over 4-5 days a week (Mon-Fri). Agile working is available for this role. This means that working hours should predominantly take place on campus within the department, though some remote digital working from home is also possible, subject to government guidance and University policy. Training and support will be available throughout.
