Student Lifecycle Officer


About the role
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the Student Lifecycle team which is responsible for lifecycle events management including student registration, mitigating circumstances and graduation, the development of systems and processes, and the collection and management of data, and for developing and embedding understanding across the University of the principles and processes of academic administration and interconnections between the work of corporate teams and academic schools. You will also be responsible for the timely and effective delivery of the student records systems, data and processes which underpin key events in the student lifecycle, particularly registration and graduation. You will use knowledge of the student records systems, to ensure that systems, processes and products meet the needs of students, academic schools and corporate teams.

About you
As the ideal candidate you will have a first degree or equivalent vocational experience, plus substantial experience in similar or related roles, and experience of using large-scale and complex IT systems such as student records systems (ideally SITS) or enquiry management systems. You will have knowledge of student lifecycle administration and the business processes underpinning this, preferably gained through vocational experience in Higher Education, and experience of delivering customer service and improving systems and processes for the demonstrable benefit of customers. You will also have significant desktop IT experience including setting-up, manipulating and developing spreadsheets and databases and experience of delivering projects or large scale operational processes.
