About the Role
As the Student Lifecycle Officer, you will support the effective day-to-day operations of academic administration across all programs, modes and locations. you will work across the full range of academic administration activities associated with the student lifecycle including, credit assessment, enrolment, assessment, academic progress and completions. You will oversee the provision of timely and accurate information, advice and service to students and other clients of the STEM College.
To be successful in this position, you’ll have:

Demonstrated experience in delivering administrative services in an educational environment.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively, flexibly and collaboratively with colleagues within and beyond the immediate work unit, contributing to the achievement of team goals.

Demonstrated commitment to quality and continuous improvement, and proven ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, and systems consistently, provide advice and drive creative solutions.

Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a demanding environment with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality assurance.

Demonstrated organisational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and proven ability to liaise effectively with a wide range of management, staff and external parties on complex, sensitive and confidential issues.

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients and customers and commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Demonstrated high-level computer skills using Word, Excel, databases, Internet and email with accuracy and attention to detail.

The STEM College Office Professional staff provide exceptional and efficient support to the College.
The Learning, Teaching and Quality teams support:

The Professional shared services Group delivers service to all four School across five distinct functions:
• Student Lifecycle
• Planning & Operations
• Technical Services
• Program & Governance
• WIL & Engagement
Relevant digital solutions – such as Workday – are used by the five teams to streamline processes and drive operational efficiencies. The Group’s end-to-end professional support ensures a consistent approach to the operational and strategic functioning of the College and adherence to University policies and procedures.
The STEM College Office professional staff are instrumental in providing students with a transformative and enriched learning experience, and in supporting our research and engagement administration activities. Centralised in the STEM College Office, at our City and Bundoora campuses, professional staff members have opportunities to cross-skill, engage in professional development and develop their own career paths.
