About the role  

The Student Hub are seeking a passionate and motivated team supervisor who will work to support the 24/7 service offering. You will be part of a team of staff who support our students across a 24/7 timeframe with a shift pattern on a 4 days on, 4 days off rota, working a 12 hour shift from 08.00 – 20.00. This post is offered on a full-time, permanent basis. There is also a further 10% shift enhancement in addition to this. You will be responsible for the provision of advice, information and guidance to University of Southampton students and customers on a wide array of subjects including student fees and funding, accommodation, graduation, careers events and ID cards. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated individual who is interested in enhancing service delivery and line management skills. The successful candidate must be available to work across a variety of Southampton based Student Hub locations. 

About you 

The successful candidate will bring a knowledge of higher education, student support and issues effecting students from a wide range of backgrounds is desirable. We are looking for an individual with exceptional organisational skills, with an eye for detail, able to prioritise well and manage often multiple tasks and deadlines. A successful Student Hub Supervisor will possess excellent customer service and time management skills, as well as a competency in Microsoft Office and an aptitude for learning service specific software and internal systems. The successful candidate will need to have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be confident working alongside a variety of colleagues and building relationships. The role involves interaction with our students and the successful candidates must be a good communicator, both written and verbal and confident working alongside a variety of colleagues and building relationships.
