| Hours per Week | Hours per week: Times for 4 hr shifts can be flexible but in general are: Friday 7p-11p Saturday 9a-1p and 7p-11p Sunday 9a-1p and 7p-11p Ability to fill in for same shifts during the week is helpful. |
| Job Summary | You must be a current UK student to apply for this position. This position is located off-campus with a local Lexington employer and is not affiliated with UK. Female paraplegic in a power wheelchair. She is independent during the day but needs assistance with personal hygiene (daily dressing, sometimes bathing and bowel care) and other general needs at the beginning and end of the day. Ceiling-mounted lift used for transfers to/from bed and shower. Exercises withexercise bands for arms and passive exercises with legs. Smalltasks around the house such as reaching things that are out of reach for someone in a wheelchair, carrying in groceries from van, etc. |
| Skills / Knowledge / Abilities | Caregiving experience is a plus, but not required. Tasks are easily trainable. Must be covid vaccinated. Non-smoker |
