Position Summary Information

Job Description Summary	Assist Faculty with course; tasks could include developing content, grade, building PowerPoints.
Responsibilities	Responsibilities are to assist Japanese faculty in advancing research projects (gather data, analyze findings, maintain database, etc.) coordinating and promoting cultural programs, calendars and events. You may also be asked to file, photocopy, scan or digitize documents, proof reports and research academic articles, aide in library and internet research needs, create presentations in various mediums. Some course preparation and management tasks could include; translating materials, building online content.
Required Qualifications	Ability to read, write and speak Japanese.
Desired Qualifications	Dependable with strong organizational and good communication skills. Ability to take direction and work independently on assigned tasks. Need intermediate to advanced computer skills, familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Canvas and the ability to learn new software programs. Ability to create and edit video presentations. Knowledge of support processes, office procedures and use of standard office equipment.
