We are entering an exciting phase with the development of a new Libraries Programme. This will deliver three connected projects, a new Library Pavilion as well as the development of our existing site and study spaces across campus. We are looking for an individual to work closely with the Student Experience Senior Manager, to develop and deliver excellent student-focussed Library services within these physical and digital spaces.
You will support the Student Experience Senior Manager in the iterative design of Library services and manage the day-to-day running of these services (including management of the Weekend Team), through in-person and online channels. As we seek to transform our services, you will ensure all Library staff have the necessary skills and knowledge to support students with their education.
Along with identifying and delivering training to staff on new and revised services, you will set and maintain service standards to ensure an excellent customer service. You will also lead on the Library’s Customer Service Excellence submission, working with the Student Experience Senior Manager to establish a culture that embraces change and supports continuous improvement.
