The Opportunity

The Disability Advisor role represents an exciting opportunity based in Student Services in the Disability Team, part of the Accessibility and Inclusion Team within Student Services.

We are looking for an ambitious individual to join a team of staff and will provide specialist disability advice and support to both prospective and current students during their time at the University.  

The post-holder will work alongside 2 other Disability Advisors liaising with Disability Link Officers in schools, Student Experience Officers, Academic staff and other professional support staff to ensure disabled students are supported.

The post holder will have experience of working in a similar environment and be able to provide advice to students, young people or vulnerable adults in an education environment. You will also have an understanding of issues relating to student needs and support and be able to deal with a caseload of students. You will need a degree or equivalent level qualification
