The Opportunity:
The University of Central Florida’s (UCF) Online Connect Center is searching for a Student Coach I. The Student Coach I is a full-time position that provides a basic level of coaching support to prospective UCF Online students by actively working with potential online student inquiries, collecting contact and other data, and guiding eligible applicants toward ongoing coaching support.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:

Performs prospective student outreach and follow up by utilizing multiple methods of communication (e.g., phone, email, instant messaging, video, social networking sites) to engage with prospective students.

Follows a detailed inquiry management and communication plan to ensure consistent communication with prospective students.

Performs basic coaching and onboarding for prospective students through various modalities.

Prepares the student for ongoing coaching relationships.

Responsible for basic level information related to university, college, and program policies and procedures, as well as general information related to community resources to provide students with information and guidance, and to assist students in making informed decisions.

Uses Salesforce and other relevant technology systems.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 0+ years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience working at an institution of higher education.

Previous Salesforce experience.
-
Previous customer service or coaching experience.
