• Responsibility for the overall strategy development and implementation of sourcing strategies, together with the leadbuyers and the manager in charge
• Finding and onboarding supplier, partners that support quality, freetrade agreements and cost requirements
• Development and improvement of procurement processes and systems
• Lead of major relocation projects and contract negotiations within
• Training, qualification and coaching of the buyers and leadbuyers
• Lead the team and attend management meetings when the manager in charge is not available
• Strategic partner to our headquarters in Canada and our international procurement offices

Your skills and experiences

• Completed education or studies in the fields of procurement, logistics, business administration, technology
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a global strategic purchasing role in the automotive industry or an international industrial company
• Knowledge of global automotive and recreational supplier base and existing relationships with such partners and potential partners, preferably
• Proactive and dynamic buyer personality with technical affinity and passion for our high-tech products
• Experience in coaching and leading of buyers
• Communicative team player with negotiation skills and ERP routine, ideally in SAP
• Perfect English skills, both written and spoken, basic German knowledge as a plus but the willingness to learn it

The minimum salary for this position is EUR 65,432.36 gross/year according to the very attractive collective agreement of the metal industry.
