Embassy Suites by Hilton Milpitas Silicon Valley is looking for a Steward to join their team! Our all-suites hotel is off I-680, 11 miles from Silicon Valley and San Jose. We’re 10 minutes from the Great Mall and 20 minutes from Levi’s Stadium. Our hotel has 267 suites, over 18,000 square feet of event space with 14 meeting rooms. Must be able to work a varied schedule which includes mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.What will I be doing?As a Dishwasher, you would be responsible for transporting and cleaning cooking utensils and serviceware in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:Wash dishes and operate the dishwasher to clean all chinaware, silverware and cooking utensilsScrub pots and pansBurnish, de-tarnish and polish silverStock and maintain supplies and equipmentPerform cleaning duties including, but not limited to, mopping and removing trashTransport and store clean servicewareTrain other stewards, as neededPrepare and place clean serviceware for events and functionsNo prior hotel work experience needed, and training will be providedAvailability to work on weekends and/or holidays will be requiredHourly Rate of Pay: $19.50What are we looking for?Since being founded in 1919, Hilton has been a leader in the hospitality industry.
