Cedarville University is seeking to hire a Campus Experience Specialist who is an integral part of the Campus Experience team. The Campus Experience Specialist will provide leadership and direction in the following areas: A specific Campus Experience Group(s), Academic year portfolio, a Summer portfolio, and specific Campus Experience service(s) or program(s). The Campus Experience Specialist will create the opportunities (environment, services, team) so students, faculty, staff, and guests of the University can create moments. This is a full-time (2080 annual hours) exempt position that reports to the Director of Campus Experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:
- Provide leadership and direction to a designated group of the Campus Experience team.
- Recruitment, selection, training, motivating, coaching, and discipleship of group members toward extraordinary effort with a mindset of striving for excellence in all areas of responsibility.
- Establish and maintain group objectives and goals that fit into the bigger picture of the Campus Experience office and the Student Life and Christian ministries division.
- Management of guests, special projects and events for the academic year and Summer as assigned by the Director of Campus Experience.
- Budgeting and financial record keeping, analysis, and reporting.
- Analysis of project/event.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree required, with experience in related fields.
- Passionate about team members and team development.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to recruit, supervise, manage, train, and assess volunteers and student team members.
- Ability to oversee multiple projects, events, and services.
