What you will doLead and develop the local medical strategy and medical activities for defined product(s) in the respective therapeutic area, incl. pipeline moleculesDevelop local medical plan & activities, in line with cross-functional local and global strategyEnsure consistency of medical content and scientific messages with local strategyImplement and facilitate medical/scientific educational meetings and advisory boardsDevelop & position Austrian Scientific Experts in regional & international Amgen activitiesDevelop and maintain collaborative relationships with selected current and future Scientific Experts, medical societies & study groups and understand the relevant external networksManage internal relationships and serve as point of contact for local and international Amgen teams in respective therapeutic areaPartner and closely work with Brand Leads and BU Management in the development and execution of the local brand planDevelop and implement medical engagement plans in defined geographic territoryGather and process relevant (medical) insights from external interactionsDiscuss up-to-date scientific topics, clinical outcomes and patient benefits with Scientific Experts and other relevant stakeholders like hospital pharmacistsGive medical/scientific presentations at Amgen and/or 3rd party educational meetingsAttend & support national and international congressesCooperate with clinical study team regarding study feasibility, site selection and site engagement as neededIdentify new collaboration opportunities, manage Medical sponsorshipsComply with all relevant internal processes, external laws and regulationsWIN
What we expect of youDegree in Natural Sciences (e.g. PhD preferred, MSc, MD)Fluency in German and English, both in oral and written communication
