Position Summary
This position assists department with research, organization, preparation, and record maintenance of special projects for the department.
Job Description
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Researches information, assembles/gathers material and prepares special projects.
- Monitors department supply inventory and costs.
- Organizes and maintains inventory and special projects’ records.
- Assists Directors and coordinators with regularly scheduled and infrequent assignments, calendar management, and room reservations.
- Communicates effectively through written correspondence with students, trainees, and faculty.
- Distributes department mail.
- Processes work orders and acts as departmental purchasing assistant.
- Assists with training of new staff.
Preferred Qualifications
- Two years of college or business school.
- Working knowledge of computers and general office equipment.
- Effective organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to quickly adjust to and manage unplanned events and assignments.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent high school certification.
- Three years of experience in a business or medical setting.

G06-H
Salary Range
$17.14 – $25.70 / Hourly
The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one’s qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
