Job Summary: |
Under the general supervision of the Associate Executive Chef of Union South, this Sous Chef position is responsible for managing production and execution of all retail items, grab and go items, and the bake shop as needed for Wisconsin Union Dining and Hospitality. |

Responsibilities: | Oversees daily food service operations including staff management and/or customer issue resolution in environments such as dining, retail, and/or catering venues to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve food service goals. This individual identifies work unit needs and contributes to the development of unit processes and procedures.

Additional Information: |
The Wisconsin Union operates two buildings on the UW-Madison campus. The Wisconsin Union is a financially self-supporting division of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Financial support for the organization is provided by income earned by twenty-two food service units and a variety of nonfood units such as games, guest rooms, space rentals and campus vending. Substantial support is also provided by student fees. The total annual organizational budget is approximately $45 million dollars. |
