The Catering Department at Churchill College currently operates 7 days a week, catering for around 1000 covers per day via its Cafeteria & Banquet operation. Term time Catering sees us focus on providing a varied menu for our members and a full range of options for Conferencing and Banqueting is maintained throughout the year. The covers for banquets range from 3 to 452, Garden parties run to 650.

We are seeking a full-time Sous Chef to prepare and deliver all aspects of food service for the College, Members, guests and conference guests to the highest standards.

Applicants must previously have worked at the same level of seniority, ideally in a comparable operation. To succeed candidates will need sound technical skills, experience in banqueting and the ability to lead and motivate others.

The working pattern will be 37.5 hours per week, working 3.5 days over 7 including alternate weekends.

The closing date for applications is 17 October 2022.
It is anticipated interviews will be held during week commencing 24 October 2022.
