We are seeking a Solution Engineer with a strong background in API development and system integration to join our Architecture Integration team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integration solutions that connect various applications and systems within our enterprise environment. This role requires proficiency in Java, expertise in API development, and a strong understanding of system integration best practices.Your mission:

• Design, develop, and maintain APIs and system integrations to ensure seamless data flow across applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Implement secure, scalable, and efficient integration solutions using industry best practices.
• Troubleshoot and optimize integration processes to enhance performance and reliability.
• Maintain technical documentation for developed solutions, ensuring clarity and maintainability.
• Ensure compliance with security and governance policies in all integration processes.
• Work in a stimulating environment, contributing team’s planning, reviews, and retrospectives and algin with the architecture team.

Your profile:

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in software development with a focus on APIs and system integration.
• Strong Java programming skills, with experience in API development (REST, SOAP).
• Proficiency in integration frameworks and middleware solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent English skills (written and spoken) for effective communication in an international team.
• Strong team player with a proactive and collaborative mindset.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks and a proactive and reliable personality with hands on mentality.
• Experience with WebMethods or other enterprise integration platforms is a nice to have.
• Knowledge of SAP integration techniques and tools is a plus.
• Experience with DevOps and/or MLOps pipelines will be advantageous.
• Proficiency in Python programming language is a nice to have.

• Extent: full-time, 38 hours / week, all-in contract
• We offer a minimum compensation package starting at € 55,000 gross/year on a full-time basis (38 hours/week), with the opportunity of overpayment depending on your experience, skills and qualification.
