Job Purpose and Overview

Due to Appfire’s exponential growth, we seek a talented and highly ambitious professional to join us as Software Engineer. We’re Platform Team that builds internal developer platform, frameworks and services for application development teams.
In this role, you will be the first point of contact with developers using our in-house platform: helping them with solutions/troubleshooting, building reference solutions for common use cases, working with Senior Engineers to solve defects affecting development, creating test cases and improving documentation. This position is an ideal career track for those seeking a future as Cloud developers and architects.

What You Will Do

  • You will guide developers with correct usage of Internal Developer Platform
  • You will be identifying common development use cases and building reference solutions
  • You will diagnose, configure, troubleshoot and solve technical problems associated with Internal Developer Platform.
  • You will enhance test case coverage and keep the documentation up to date
  • You will gain experience in cutting-edge technologies such as AWS, Containers, Kubernetes, Infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using AWS CDK, CloudFormation and Terraform
  • You will get an opportunity to work with architects, leads, principals on escalated unresolved issues and gain immense knowledge through collaboration.

What We Would Like To See

  • 1-3 years of experience working as Full Stack Engineer
  • Proficiency in Java or Node/Typescript
  • Application deployment experience in any Cloud Environments, preferably AWS
  • Knowledge of Serverless, Event Driven Systems or Kubernetes is a plus
  • Knowledge of IAC is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • 4+ years of total experience working as a technical support engineer, managing and supporting enterprise-class software products.
  • B.E/B.Tech in CSE, IT, ECE, EEE, MIS, or a comparable discipline.
