Your future Team 

We are a small DevOps team and our job is to integrate Axis’s analytics applications into cloud solutions and applications. Analytics at Axis means using techniques such as deep learning and machine learning of video material to create smart solutions for our existing and new customers.  

We work in smaller agile sub-teams to make the teams as self-sufficient and empowered as possible. We trust our engineers and the teams to create awesome analytics solutions and in a sustainable way.   

We strongly believe in collaboration, exchange of knowledge and having fun together. We are a diverse team regarding personalities and years in the business. Our teams are working full stack with a scope all the way from the algorithms to the user interface. 

What you’ll do here as Software Developer 

Your task will be to ensure that the analytics products that our sister teams develop are integrated in all of Axis’s solutions together with your colleagues. This means that you will have the chance to work with many different teams and products within Axis, both in Lund and in our other R&D sites in Linköping and Sophia Antipolis. 

Depending on the tools and languages chosen by the teams we collaborate with, you will get the opportunity to develop new skills. Typical tools, techniques and languages will be Python, Rust, Typescript, Git, Gerrit, Github and Docker and we work in both Linux and Windows environments. 

What we believe you will bring to the team 

We think you are a software developer who has worked with agile development in previous jobs. Our team is quite experienced, and we hope that you can complement us with your own background and experience.  

As a person, we believe that you are curious and driven with a deep interest in Software Development. You respect all individuals and don’t put yourself in front of others. 

We don’t believe in giving you an exact specification on what to do, we want to benefit from the intelligence and skills of each team member to come up with answers to our questions.
