Purpose

This position is housed within the Meadows Center for Preventing Educational Risk (MCPER) at UT Austin. The purpose of this position is to participate as a member the MCPER Evaluation team, with primary responsibility for developing, implementing, and managing data collection, data management, and data reporting systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage processes for all electronic data collection, management, and reporting across multiple evaluation projects. This may include, though not be limited to, the following: Build, review, and pilot online surveys in Qualtrics or other software. Monitor survey distribution and response on behalf of clients. Develop narrative and visual summaries of survey responses. Report findings succinctly in regular reports for a broad audience. Strategize with team lead and with stakeholders to optimize performance of data systems.

  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss status of projects, report progress on targeted objectives, and problem solve. Participate in weekly cross-project and project-specific meetings involving team members and key stakeholders. Provide data summaries and reports as needed to inform meeting agendas. Solicit feedback on what works and what might work better.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with two years of related experience or a Master’s degree. Proficiency with Qualtrics. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Familiarity with summarizing and visualizing survey data. Strong interpersonal communication skills. Good written communication skills

Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working on program evaluation/research projects. Experience communicating survey findings in group settings.

Salary Range

$25,000 at 20 hours/week
