The Department of Mathematics at Harvard University welcomes applications for a postdoctoral position supported by the Simons Collaboration on New Structures in Low-Dimensional Topology (https://sites.usc.edu/simonsnewstructures/ ). The Postdoctoral Fellow will conduct research in one or more of the areas supported by the Simons Collaboration, including aspects of gauge theory, Heegaard-Floer homology, Khovanov homology and categorification. The Fellow will be encouraged to interact and collaborate with members of the other nodes of the Simons Collaboration on New Structures in Low-Dimensional Topology.

This is a three-year position, with an expected start date of September 1, 2023.

Priority will be given to applications received before December 2, 2022.

Required qualifications: doctorate in mathematics at the time that the appointment begins, with a research background in areas related to the Simons Collaboration.
