NFS1212 H1F Regulation of Food Composition, Health Claims and Safety
This course will provide an overview of the Canadian food supply, its regulatory oversight, use and misuse of scientific evidence and application to nutrition policy, and the role of scientists in government, universities, and the private sector.

Sessional Dates
September 12 to December 5, 2024, inclusive.
Salary
$9,458 to $10,570
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Qualifications
Applicants must have a PhD in food and/or nutrition sciences, with course-related research publications and teaching experience at the undergraduate and graduate level.
Duties
Normal teaching duties both in-person and/or online (i.e., plans course readings, plans content, provides lectures, coordinates guest speakers, sets and evaluates written and group assignments, supports student learning)
