Course description: The Local Film Cultures seminar has been designed as an experiment in historiography that seeks to understand and account for Toronto’s unique film cultures. Students engage in intensive primary research and collaborative scholarship.

Salary:
Sessional Lecturer I: $8,489.67
Sessional Lecturer I, Long Term: $8,869.25
Sessional Lecturer II: $9,085.58
Sessional Lecturer III: $9,301.90

Description of duties: The Sessional Lecturer will follow the broad outline of the syllabus that has been established for the course, using any textbooks/films that may have been ordered. Revisions and/or updates to the curriculum should be discussed with the Director. They will lecture, grade assignments, hold office hours each week, and answer queries by email or appointment.
