Sessional Academic – Oodgeroo Unit – Keystones of Success

The Oodgeroo Unit is QUT’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander student support centre, committed to developing better access to university education for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and promote higher levels of participation in tertiary education. The Oodgeroo Unit provides a range of facilities and services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students across both campuses including the Keystones of Success: Supporting our Future Leaders program.
The Keystones of Success: Supporting our Future Leaders program provides individual tuition support to eligible Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students at QUT.
The Oodgeroo Unit requires additional sessional academic appointments to support our students throughout the academic calendar year. Successful applicants will become apart of a casual talent pool with the Oodgeroo Unit Keystones of Success program.
While all study areas are encouraged to apply, the Oodgeroo Unit is prioritising to establish a pool of sessional academics to aid in the tutoring of the following school/disciplines:

If your application is successful, you will be contacted by the Learning Success Team for an interview. Positions are based on availability within the study field. This is a contractual based role for the duration of the study Semester. Currently hiring for Semester 1, 2023. Applications will remain on file for at least 6-12 months.
Sessional contracts should only be accepted if the appointee is confident that they have the capacity to complete the appointed hours.
