Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an Services Engineer to join one of Canada’s largest retail and wellness companies. This individual will be working in a small team environment that will be focused on designing and building new features within a mobile application. This person will be responsible for understanding pre-existing code and building additional new features as well. This individual will look at improving customers experience when moving through the checkout process.

Skills and Requirements

• Has at least 5 years’ of experience as a software engineer focused on Python services development including experience in feature changes and enhancement for a mobile or web team for at least one engagement

• Must have experience with new development as well as operational/maintenance work

• Experience hosting data with AWS Lambda or putting data into Docker Containers and hosting it on Cloud storage -> Must have experience during one engagement developing and maintaining on AWS not just deploying to AWS

• Has previous experience working in a small team and being a main contributor as well as having experience working in a well-established team

• is familiar with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Cloud formation) and has a good understanding of architecture null
