The School of Computer Science and Statistics (SCSS) invites applications for the full-time, permanent position of Senior Technical Officer. The successful candidate will play an important role in facilitating the effective and efficient delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programmes, research activities and support of School staff. This includes the installation and maintenance of equipment for the School’s teaching and research laboratories, audio-visual equipment in the School’s lecture, seminar and conferences rooms, and day to day support of staff and researchers. All equipment and activity in the School is supported by five Technical Officers and one Senior Laboratory Attendant. This group of six is managed by the Chief Technical Officer 1.
Post Status: Permanent
Hours: 36.5 Hours Per Week
Salary: Appointment will be made on the Senior Technical Officer Pay Scale Salary Scale] at a point in line with Government Pay Policy [€52,293 to €62,825 per annum]
