Join our dedicated product engineering team as we continue to evolve our onlyfy ATS product, designed to streamline the hiring process. As a backend engineer, you’ll be crucial in enhancing our monolithic architecture, ensuring robustness and scalability. You’ll have the opportunity to make impactful contributions by developing new features and refining existing systems to elevate our platform’s performance and user experience. Your tasks: Design and develop advanced, sustainable solutions within our agile product engineering team, focusing on our monolithic architecture. Engage in the full software development life cycle from concept to deployment, ensuring high-quality deliverables. Work collaboratively to create and refine features, while troubleshooting and resolving performance issues. Play a key role in maintaining and improving code quality, organization, and automation. Embrace the dynamic, cross-functional work environment, communicating effectively in English (no German required). Your skills: Solid background in software engineering, with a specialization in PHP and experience with MVC frameworks (Symfony preferred). Proficient in relational databases (MySQL/MariaDB) and familiar with Elasticsearch and Redis. A strong advocate for automated testing, clean code, and thorough code coverage. Agile enthusiast with a passion for teamwork and knowledge sharing. A positive, solution-oriented mindset, strong English communication skills, and an openness to a diverse working culture.
