Overview

The School of Medical and Health Sciences at Edith Cowan University (ECU) offers undergraduate, postgraduate and research degrees.  Academics in the School are involved in research and teaching relating to a wide range of health disciplines.

This role is responsible for effectively providing a broad range of administrative roles, function and services to the School staff and operations. The portfolio of responsibilities includes supporting the School Executive, HR and payroll related tasks, processes, and advice including recruitment; assets; overseeing financial processes; event coordination; travel; mentorship and Committee support.  The position will suit an individual who is self-motivated and thrives on working in a busy and complex work environment.

Selection Criteria

  • Completion of a Diploma with subsequent experience, or equivalent expertise, and experience in providing administrative support within a large organisation;
  • A strong commitment to exceptional customer service to achieve quality outcomes;
  • Demonstrated high level of administrative skills with attention to detail, accurately maintaining administrative systems and procedures;
  • Demonstrated high level organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise numerous competing tasks with minimal supervision;
  • Interpersonal skills with proven ability to develop good relationships and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven ability to provide mentorship to colleagues.

Benefits & Remuneration

This full time, on-going position attracts remuneration of $75,821 – $84,254 plus up to 17% University superannuation contribution.
