About Research Finance (RF)
Research Finance sits within the Directorate of Finance and is responsible for managing annual research income of around £250 million from a portfolio of approx. 2,500 live research grants and contracts across the three University Faculties.
The Team
Research Finance team has approx. 70 employees, who manage all post award activities for all research grants and contracts. Our mission is to be true business partners to our research community providing exceptional guidance, support and insight and working collaboratively as ‘one team’ in delivering world class transformative research.
The Role
We are recruiting a full time Senior Research Finance Business Partner to join our team.
The Senior Research Finance Business Partner will be a senior member of the Research Finance team and will also work closely with the Head of Faculty Financial Reporting and Analysis in Faculty.
The post holder will act as a finance partner to the Associate Dean for Research (ADR) and will provide strategic financial input to the Faculty’s research plans. The post holder will be specifically responsible for the delivery of all aspects of financial support and accounting for research grants and contracts and other similar activities within the faculty.
