Job Description

Yale-NUS College is a highly selective liberal arts and science college in Singapore. Co-founded by Yale University and the National University of Singapore, the College is committed to excellence in research and teaching within a full residential programme that integrates living and learning. Its curriculum educates students in Asian and Western intellectual traditions as well as current scientific thought.

 

The College is seeking to hire a Senior Research Fellow in algebraic combinatorics. Preferred fields of specialisation are finite group theory, permutation groups and graph theory.

 

The successful candidate will be offered a 9-month contract and is expected to begin duties in January 2024.

Requirements

  • PhD graduate in Mathematics from a regionally or internationally accredited institution.
  • At least 4 years’ postdoctoral research experience.
  • Strong background in algebraic combinatorics.
  • Familiarity with GAP/Magma/SageMath would be a plus.
