Applications are invited for the post of Senior Research Fellow on a research grant funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research (No.61/9/2020-BMS) at the School of Bio Sciences and Technology, Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore – 632 014.

Title of the Project: “Elucidation of the molecular mechanistic role of platelet NLRP3 on platelet activation, platelet-mediated neutrophil extracellular trap formation, and endothelial dysfunction in mediating systemic inflammation”

Job Title: Senior Research Fellow

Qualification: M.Sc. (Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology), or M.Tech. (Biotechnology), or M.Pharm. with CSIR/NET/GATE qualification with two years of relevant experience

Vacancy: One

Stipend: Rs. 35,000 pm + 8% HRA

Principal Investigator: Dr. Everette Jacob Remington Nelson, Associate Professor & Head, Department of Integrative Biology, School of Bio Sciences and Technology, Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore – 632 014, Tamil Nadu.

Project Duration: 2 Years

Candidates with previous experience in cell culture, flow cytometry, Western blotting, real-time PCR, ELISA, immunocytochemistry, and handling of small animals would be preferred.
