Senior Research Fellow (Computer Science / Electrical Engineering / Mathematics / Information Systems)

A Senior Research Fellow position is available in the Algorand Centre of Excellence at NTU (ACE@NTU), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. 

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and test blockchain systems, services, and algorithms based on Algorand platform

• Designs and develops course materials in Blockchain for undergraduates, postgraduate and lifelong learning courses.

• Participates in collaborative discussions with potential partners from government agencies and industry

• Advises and mentors NTU Blockchain student club on blockchain projects

• Leads and participates in Centre blockchain research projects

• Provides research grants submission support for the Centre

• Publishes research findings in key conferences and journals

Competencies and Qualification Requirements

• A Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems or related disciplines

• Minimum 5 years of experience with a research orientation and deep problem-solving capabilities

• Experience in Blockchain technologies or platforms e.g. Ethereum, Algorand, Conflux, etc

• Familiarity with blockchains, smart contracts, incentive mechanisms, machine learning and other decentralized systems

• Proficient in at least one of the following programming languages (C/C++, Python, Java)

• Good track record of publications

• Good teamwork and collaboration skills
