Senior Research Associate (part-time (0.4fte), fixed term from 3 January 2023 to 31 July 2023)

£35,333 to £42,155 per annum, pro rata 

We are seeking an experienced Senior Research Associate to work on the qualitative side of a mixed-methods evaluation of Norfolk County Council’s New Roads service. The ideal candidate will have expertise in working with vulnerable young people. 

The post will involve carrying out narrative interviews with young people, semi-structured interviews with professionals, and two focus groups with professionals. You will need to be experienced in using narrative and thematic analysis, literature searching and reviewing. You must have a PhD in Social Work, or a related field, and experience of managing similar research projects in the past, including drafting reports. The project will involve travel within Norfolk. 

The post is available on a part-time (0.4fte), fixed term basis from 3 January 2023 to 31 July 2023.
