Senior Research Assistant (Female Exercise Physiology)

We are looking for a nine month Senior Research Assistant to join the team at the Institute of Sport, Manchester Metropolitan University, to provide research support for The Changemaker Study. This project is based in Women’s Football and involves teams from all around Europe.

About the role:

The role will involve assisting, and where necessary taking the lead, with research data collection and analysis, and the dissemination of findings to appropriate groups related to the project. The study will include experimental research on elite female players and their support staff using qualitative and quantitative methods. In addition, the successful applicant will be expected to contribute to the production of research reports, publications, and educational resources.

In recognition of staff contributions to the University’s achievements during the 2021/2022 academic year, an additional discretionary payment of 2% per annum will be added to your salary until 31/07/23 in order to ensure consistency amongst existing and incoming staff.  This additional 2% will be paid pro rata in equal monthly installments, on top of your salary each month until 31/07/23.
