One of our clients is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their expanding team in Atlanta, GA. • Reviewing and verifying constructability of the plans and specifications.
• Creating and enforcing a construction schedule that is tracked and updated daily with a constant monthly look ahead to ensure timely completion of the project.
• Initial project estimates and bidding and qualifying subcontractors
• Preparing scopes of work and recommending subcontractors to be selected for contracting on the construction of the project. Sending out invitations to bid and managing the bidding process.
• Negotiating scopes of work and final contract amounts, preparing, estimating and verifying change order requests
• Responding to RFI’s or submittals and responding to subcontractor or consultants project related questions.
• Directing and managing each of the Superintendents and Project Engineers to maintain the performance of subcontractors and consultants on-site.
• Implementation of strict construction safety practices
• Verify compliance with the plans and specifications, hosting weekly and monthly jobsite meetings as well as managing and conducting other duties necessary for the successful completion of the projects.
• Review monthly subcontractor invoices
• Attend monthly budget draw meetings, and cost to complete

• 2+ years of experience as a Senior Project Manager in the commercial construction industry
• Experience with interior commercial projects preferred
• Experience with aviation builds required
• Leadership experience managing a team of PM’s preferred
• Technical degree level education in construction or related field
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Stable work record

Client is a Georgia based Commercial General Contractor with over 15 years in business specializing in interiors commercial construction, specifically for aviation, goverment, higher education, healthcare and retail industries.

• Base salary range: $120,000 – $140,000 (Package is negotiable subject to experience)
