• Implementation of projects and investments with focus on decarbonization, modernization and efficiency improvement of production lines, the design and construction of new production lines or even new plants
• Support to the local operations (Operations Directors, Plant managers) in the continuous improvement of their plants with respect to production performance, product quality, scrap in production, energy efficiency and carbon footprint incl. the required process analysis (e.g. energy audits, root cause analysis, …)
• Together with the Head of Technology and Senior Process Engineers and Procurement, selection of equipment and machinery for the production of bricks and roof tiles

Together with the Head of Technology and Procurement, negotiation and preparation of purchasing contracts with suppliers * Together with Senior Process Engineers, commissioning of equipment and machinery for the production of bricks and roof tiles after the modification of plants or in case of new equipment

• Within projects the key responsibilities are defined in the project agreements; the senior project manager is responsible for the delivery of project within the agreed time and cost frame and the fulfilment of the agreed performance targets (e.g. energy consumption, production output, …)
• Ensure Health & Safety standards maintained in all aspects of project and implementation

Your Profile

• Bachelor degree or equivalent (Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Ceramics, …)
• More than 5 years of experience as project manager in a related industry
• Very good knowledge of production process
• Open mindset for continuous improvement
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to set the right priorities
• Analytical personality
• Good language skills in English; German, Dutch or French is beneficial
• Strong communicator and convincing personality (e.g. in case of severe discussions with suppliers)
• Willingness to travel internationally (up to 75% of the time) and in an intercultural environment

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € 3.553,67 per month based on full-time employment (38.5 h/week).
