Support the development and continuous improvement of the Royal Military College – Australia. Applying adult education principles, the successful candidate will provide learning technology expertise that develops and modernises learning content for the Australian Army’s Foundational Capability and Land Combat Capability, and where applicable, to ensure it is contemporary, capable of being delivered at the point and time of need, uses advanced technology where appropriate, is accessible for Army Reservists, and employs learning approaches that will support the goal of obtaining a Future Ready Training System.
The Senior Officer, Programs Evaluator will work with the Lead, Digital Learning Technologist and Academic Director to evaluate, investigate, design, plan and develop solutions to ensure the overarching strategy for the use of technology which will support learning outcomes ensuring that content development maintains a contemporary focus aimed at combining learning theory with technology.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Envisioning, strategising, planning, developing and implementing a range of digital Platforms, both emergent and established
- Ensuring all solutions and applications through which the university engages directly with stakeholders are appropriately integrated, designed, developed, optimised and maintained to deliver appropriate business outcomes and superior digital experiences
- Undertaking the design, development configuration, testing and support of enterprise platforms and integrations
- Drawing on a diverse range of people, groups and resources to identify new or improved opportunities, processes and ways of doing things to enhance organisational strategy
- Distilling the core issues from complex information, drawing accurate conclusions and condensing complex information and next steps into simple concise terms that others can understand
- Using knowledge of innovation principles to analyse current processes and practices
- Seeking to continuously improve and apply critical learnings from projects and initiatives across the University
- Establishing and demonstrating a high level of learning, energy and commitment and maintaining personal integrity and making decisions consistent with University values
To be successful, you’ll have:
- A Degree with subsequent relevant experience; or
- Extensive experience and specialist knowledge or broad knowledge in technical or administrative fields
- Relevant experience in the acquisition, preparation and monitoring of data sets and performance reports
- Experience and/or certifications in analytics / business intelligence platforms; customer relationship management systems; data visualisation and dashboarding tools; online survey software and analysis platforms.
- Experience gathering, documenting and managing user requirements
- Knowledge of systems, process and business improvement capabilities
- Experience designing effective solutions to complex business and technical problems.
- Extensive analytical experience in a large complex organisation
