Here’s where you come in:
As Senior MEAL Manager you will lead in the design and implementation of monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning systems for World Vision Somalia. You will champion ways-of-working which improve monitoring and measuring impact amongst programs and projects across the entire portfolio. You will support positioning and grants acquisitions by spearheading assessment processes, including mobilizing/leading internal capacity, development of scopes-of-work, recruitment of consultants and presentation of findings. You will mobilize MEAL professionals to support proposal development, including framing of ToCs, design of reporting frameworks and budgeting of operational research and accountability systems.
Requirements include:
- Preferred Masters, but acceptable Bachelor’s degree in MEAL, Research and Evidence-based Design principles.
- A minimum of 5 years’ Experience with monitoring and evaluation, research, and learning.
- Experience with the design of research and academic studies;
- Experience with the development of Power BI, Python, and other data analysis platforms;
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in humanitarian and development practice, with at least 5 years in management positions;
- Strong leadership skills with demonstrated experience either (i) leading/coordinating decentralized, multi-sector teams in fragile context; (ii) leading and/or supporting procurement process and/or (iii) development/improvement of performance management systems; (iv) government engagement.
- Fluent in English.
- 10% international travel. Ability to travel to field locations in 4×4 vehicles
