Job description

The University of Central Lancashire is pleased to offer this exciting opportunity to join its growing Market Insight team. Sitting within Marketing, the Market Insight team aims to enable evidence-based decision making across all areas of the University, including student recruitment, marketing, portfolio development and events, by drawing on both primary and secondary research.

The successful candidate will be central to the team’s capacity to deliver timely, actionable insight to key stakeholders. This role requires an experienced market research or insight professional, with a proven ability to design, manage and deliver market and consumer insight projects. This will involve the use of quantitative and qualitative methodologies as appropriate, so experience across both is essential. A key focus for the team is ensuring that relevant insight is proactively shared across departments, so excellent communication skills are a must. The team has access to a wide range of datasets, both internal and external, so we will be looking for someone comfortable with analysing and interpreting complex data.

The successful candidate will have a good honours degree. In return, you will be placed at the heart of wide range of exciting projects, with your outputs playing a key role in supporting the work of senior decision makers across the University.
